Moana
is a fantasy/action movie that came out in November. It’s rated PG. Moana, A
Hawaiian teenager, teaches kids about bravery and perseverance while trying to
save her island using song and playful dialogue. Teamed with a brute Hawaiian
demigod named Maui and a brain-dead chicken named Hei-Hei, Moana travels across
the sea to save the heart of her island. This is truly a family movie, rated
five stars by a group of third and fifth grade girls.
Doctor Strange is a Fantasy/Science Fiction
movie that came out in November of this year. It’s rated PG-13, and wouldn’t be
recommended to some of our younger readers due to some violence and language.
Dr. Stephen Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) is a world-famous surgeon
who lost his hand in a car accident. To save the use of his hands and his
carefully-built career, Strange travels to a remote area in Asia. Full of
action, surprise, and mystery, this movie is surely one that will excite.
